Magnetic Compass Calibration

Release Version(s)Controller (6.0)Launch DateDecember 20th, 2021

Product description

In order to take advantage of some major improvements that were made to our Sensor pod's compass estimation, customers are required to calibrate their ROVs after updating to the most recent software (Controller v6.0, Sensor pod v3.0 and either REVOLUTION v6.2, PIVOT v2.3 or DTG3 v5.2). This is a one time calibration process that will only need to be redone if a customer makes major changes to their ROV's configuration.
